I have for many years not felt any connection to mainstream christianity and always felt there was something far more ancient that i am connected to. Therefore when i read this book i felt an instant connection to what was being said. I do agree that the book is a general over view of a very complex religion but does cover all the basics but it is a very good starting point for anyone converting to asatru like myself. I would like to thank Diana L Paxson for helping myself to discover a alternative path I will be reading alot more on the religion to make sure i can follow and learn to be an asatruer. Thank you.
